Do under eye fillers hurt?
Because our clinic uses a topical numbing cream, you should not feel pain during treatment. It is likely you will feel a scratch or pinch with each injection, though this is more likened to discomfort. Some clients find it easier to keep taking deep breaths with long inhales and exhales to soothe any nerves, but your injector at Pro Aesthetics will be talking you through the whole appointment.
-
How long does tear trough filler last?
Tear trough filler can last up to 9 – 12 months, depending on the individual. Our bodies naturally break down hyaluronic acid based fillers, which we use, and so the results can vary depending on how slowly your body metabolises the filler. There is less expressive movement under the eyes, unlike lip filler who’s treatment area is constantly active, so this treatment can last a little longer than other filler placements.
-
How can I minimise the risk of bruising after treatment?
It is advised that you don’t consume alcohol 24-48 hours before treatment as alcohol thins your blood, making it more likely to bruise. It is also recommended you don’t smoke before your appointment to aid with skin healing.
-
Are tear trough fillers safe?
Tear trough filler is perfectly safe when performed by trained medical aesthetic professionals who are accredited in advanced injecting. Any team member at Pro Aesthetics in West Bridgford conducting injectable treatments or non-surgical medical aesthetics is a qualified medical professional who has been trained in these areas, meaning you will only receive safe treatments.
-
Will under eye filler go away naturally?
Yes, your dermal filler under your eyes will dissolve naturally just like any other non-surgical filler. The injectable itself is made of hyaluronic acid, which naturally occurs in your skin and body. This means it is safe for your body to slowly dissolve and metabolise over time.
