How do skin peels work?
Skin peels are designed to rid the top layer of skin of dead, damaged, and dying cells. This allows for a newer, healthier layer to be revealed and encourages the growth of new skin cells and collagen. In addition, they can reduce oil, diminish spots, and shrink pores. With a course of skin peels, it is possible to permanently balance the skin’s oil production and make congested and acne-prone skin look better. After the peel, a refreshed and vibrant complexion is created, giving the appearance of a more youthful complexion.

Which areas of the face will have the skin peel solution applied?
We perform mostly full face skin peel treatments.
-
Do skin peels hurt?
The strength of the peel you are receiving will determine the level of sensations you will experience. If you are having a light or superficial treatment, you may feel a slight tingle, but it should never be overly uncomfortable. A medium peel, though, can cause a bit of stinging because the ingredients are stronger and can reach deeper layers of the skin. To ensure the most comfortable treatment experience, we will prepare, apply, and soothe your skin before and after the peel.
-
How many skin peels will I need?
You will see the difference after the initial peel, however, a course of treatments is recommended for the best outcome. Completing 3 – 6 peels can promote lasting changes to your skin as well as guarantee the best results.
-
How quickly will I see my skin peel results?
You should be able to spot a difference in your complexion shortly after your very first peel. Although, the most obvious changes usually appear after about a week. To obtain the best and longest lasting outcome we suggest you have a course of peels.
-
How long will the skin peel results last?
Up to 4 weeks but these results can be prolonged if you have a course of 4 sessions every 4 weeks.
